Hi everyone, I’m Lauren (she/her), a writer and producer of female-forward content located in Los Angeles. I originally hail from Oxnard, California, a little southern California town by the sea. I grew up playing harp and living with two younger sisters and two cats. 

 

I moved to New York in 2017 to pursue a degree in Film from NYU. There, I collaborated with incredible artists and was granted the Akhtar-Bhutta Fund for Student Producers in 2020. Also in 2020, I graduated from NYU Tisch cum laude with a BFA in Film and Television and a minor in Business, Entertainment, Media, and Technology. Ever since then, I've continued to produce award-winning short films and develop a podcast called "NeuroCinema" about the intersection of neuroscience and cinema. 

 

In my free time, I like to play harp, learn French, and roller skate :)
