Hey y’all,
So I doubt that literately anyone is reading these, but Wednesday is the new Sister Sabbath Sunday for me due to my new jOB 💅🏻. Yes, I am an officially ~employed~ boss-babe as a receptionist at a local facial spa. I do nothing except read about how the neuroscience of stress,(i’m SUCH a nerd tee-hee 🤪🙊), check bad bitches in, talk shit with the other estheticians, and practice my annoying-as-hell customer service voice for when I am 10k in debt to an MLM and on the brink of divorce. It’s called pLANNING for your FUTURE.
So, anyways, I’ve been stewing about this idea for a podcast. As you may know (or know, and just not care) I’ve got the podcast bug as of late. The other night as I was laying in bed thinking about all my sins I’ve committed from my middle school years, I began to think “God, I want to start a podcast with a very specific niche.” And this may come as a surprise to all of you, but I actually would like to make something that contributes to the world some fashion or other that isn’t just me narcissistically rambling into the ether.
So I though, maybe it would be interesting to make a podcast about entertainment and psychology/ neuroscience? Like some topics that might be discussed would be how to deal if your producer boss is a narcissist, how to deal with sleep deprivation on set or at a demanding job, how to use coke to Pavlov’s dog your actors. Things of that nature.
Now, of course, I have no background in psychology or neuroscience, except my DEEP research about how I’m convinced that the relationship between Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes is the field’s purest form of Stockholm Syndrome, but that’s neither here nor there. So I would like to pose you a question: do you know an aspiring psychologist or neuroscientist who would be interested in collaborating on this project with me? Ideally, the scientist would primarily do the research, and I would be the one to produce, edit, and ask dumb, normal people questions, à la Crime Junkie. But I’m up for ideas, of course!
So, yeah, lemme know if you have any leads or whateva... Also if you have any ideas for the podcast, or would like to give me money to get it started, I’d be good with that too! She’s! So! Easy! Going!
